Amplify is a creative collaboration with Young Life grounded in faith where elite technical mentorship meets deep spiritual formation.

We believe you were intentionally designed by the Ultimate Creator with a specific story to tell and a distinct sound to release.

This is a safe space to break through your barriers and discover what you were created to create.
What You'll Get From
A Day Camp

Your Custom "Skills Map"
A personalized mechanical diagnostic checklist after 4hrs of professional instruction showing you exactly what is holding your playing back and how to break through it.
Pro-Gear Studio Exposure
Real hands-on experience playing, tracking, and mixing on industry-standard microphones, mixing consoles, and premium instrument stations.
The Audition Kit
Fully prepared chord charts, lyric prompts, and practice guides to confidently audition for the multi-week Amplify Residency, where you'll get to perform and record with an ensemble.
High-Community Hospitality
Free food, zero-stress environments, and an immediate connection to a network of local peers who share your exact passion.

[Amplify] is one of the safest environments that I've ever been in. No matter where you are at, you're going to learn something.

Amplify Academy
Phase 3: Artist Development & Premier Academy | Jan-Apr '27
The ultimate destination of the Amplify pipeline. Building on your Day Camp and Residency foundation, Academy students receive multi-track mentorship as they co-write original songs and arrange them for professional production. The experience culminates in an incredible field trip to 25th St Recording in Oakland, CA, where students spend a full day in a world-class studio recording final tracks for their flagship Amplify studio album.
The Amplify Residency is an 8-week music program and recording experience for 20 high school musicians in Lake County.
Built to bridge the gap between solo practice and live band performance, we combine professional audio tracking, peer mentorship, and relational community so students can stop making music alone.
What is the Residency?
Weekly Rehearsals
Thursday Nights
(8 Weeks, Sep 17–Nov 5)
Every Thursday evening, 6-8:30pm, our 20-student ensemble gathers for live band rehearsal, mentor table huddles, and song arrangement. Students step into custom-fitted roles across vocals, keys, guitar, and percussion—building real confidence and learning how to lock in together as a cohesive unit.
Studio Tracking
2 Saturday Recording Sessions
(Sep 26 & Oct 10)
Step beyond the practice room and into a professional studio environment. Across two 4hr Saturday tracking workshops, participants work directly with pro studio gear, DAW software, and mic techniques to record, mix, and master our final ensemble track.
Tuition & Access
$100 Total ($50/mo) • Scholarships Available
Tuition for the full 8-week residency is $100. We ask for a small financial investment to foster student ownership and buy-in, but cost will never keep a student out. Full and partial scholarships are seamlessly built into the application with no awkward hurdles—if you need support, just check the box and you're covered.
