Phase 2: Collaborate & Record as an Ensemble | Sep-Nov '26

Shift from solo practice to full-band creation. Across this 8-week experience, cohort members meet weekly to arrange, refine, record, and perform a cover song in a professional environment. Through hands-on rehearsals, studio tracking, and music community, you’ll master dynamic teamwork and stage presence—culminating in a live showcase that paves the way for the Academy.

03

Amplify Academy

Phase 3: Artist Development & Premier Academy | Jan-Apr '27

The ultimate destination of the Amplify pipeline. Building on your Day Camp and Residency foundation, Academy students receive multi-track mentorship as they co-write original songs and arrange them for professional production. The experience culminates in an incredible field trip to 25th St Recording in Oakland, CA, where students spend a full day in a world-class studio recording final tracks for their flagship Amplify studio album.

The Amplify Residency is an 8-week music program and recording experience for 20 high school musicians in Lake County.

Built to bridge the gap between solo practice and live band performance, we combine professional audio tracking, peer mentorship, and relational community so students can stop making music alone.

What is the Residency?

Weekly Rehearsals

Thursday Nights
(8 Weeks, Sep 17–Nov 5)

Every Thursday evening, 6-8:30pm, our 20-student ensemble gathers for live band rehearsal, mentor table huddles, and song arrangement. Students step into custom-fitted roles across vocals, keys, guitar, and percussion—building real confidence and learning how to lock in together as a cohesive unit.

Studio Tracking

2 Saturday Recording Sessions
(Sep 26 & Oct 10)

Step beyond the practice room and into a professional studio environment. Across two 4hr Saturday tracking workshops, participants work directly with pro studio gear, DAW software, and mic techniques to record, mix, and master our final ensemble track.

Tuition & Access

$100 Total ($50/mo) • Scholarships Available

Tuition for the full 8-week residency is $100. We ask for a small financial investment to foster student ownership and buy-in, but cost will never keep a student out. Full and partial scholarships are seamlessly built into the application with no awkward hurdles—if you need support, just check the box and you're covered.

Mastering Engineer, Chris Pavey Mastering

Working with Corbin is an absolute privilege at every stage. His understanding and dedication to his craft are second to none, and I always look forward to receiving his mixes.

What really stands out, beyond the incredible quality of the audio, is his artist care and management—he is fast and efficient, yet every detail is considered. There is always a productive dialogue, resulting in excellent mixes to master from with a clear direction of sound.

If you are looking to receive great mixes and for an engineer who genuinely cares about your music, Corbin York is who you are looking for.

I came in with rough drafts and didn't always know how to express what I was aiming for, but Corbin helped clarify the process and made the project even better than I imagined.

Working with him was more than just a recording experience; it was a hugely impactful educational opportunity. Corbin acted as an incredible vocal coach, adding depth and dimension whenever I asked for input.

From the raw mixes to the final masters, the improvement in quality was obvious—everything sounded so professional, it truly felt like something I could hear on the radio. He brings a genuine excitement to every project that makes him fun to work with because you can tell he enjoys what he does.

I didn’t initially design my project to work with Corbin, but when the mixing and mastering fell short elsewhere, he jumped in and saved the day. With thoughtful articulation, he created a vision for what the song could be through the mix.

As an artist, I tended to have many notes, and Corbin made the revision process super easy and helpful; he happily and effectively took care of every change I requested. Hearing the final master was a massive relief—I was stoked, and so was everyone around me. Corbin is a tried-and-true professional who is intentional with his time, and that translates directly into his performance.

Before working with Corbin, I wasn't sure how to convey my intentions or how I wanted my songs to sound. Corbin has an exceptional gift for envisioning what a song can become and pulling from various inspirations to craft a complete sound.

Throughout the process, I loved receiving the Samply updates and voice memos—it made the back-and-forth fun and exciting. Having worked with other producers, Corbin is by far my favorite.

He has an incredible ear but still allowed me to have a direct say in the vibe and instrumentation. It was a true 'mission accomplished' feeling to see it across the finish line.

Before I started working with Corbin, my biggest challenge was getting the sounds in my head to actually come out in the real tracks. Corbin took my ideas and turned them into awesome interpretations.

The clarity within the different iterations and the back-and-forth communication were excellent. When I heard the final result, it was like night and day compared to the initial tracks. His mixing and editing are absolutely ON POINT—it’s been a delight to work with him and build quick rapport. You truly get beyond your money's worth.

Before working with Corbin, my biggest hesitation was finances, but the value he provided was first-class. We had worked with others for years who said nothing could be done to help with specific timing issues—Corbin proved them wrong in just 10 minutes.

He is incredibly detailed and organized, setting us up for success by tailoring the session workflow to our specific needs. Corbin is extremely musically gifted and very spirit-led; you can truly feel the Holy Spirit in what he does. We were incredibly happy with the final song and his patient, professional approach.
